This literally happened 5 minutes ago.
So I'm downstairs, checking my stuff on here (I blame you) alone (I stupidly left Collin upstairs rolling around and Macey was watching Tinkerbell) when I hear Macey yelling for me, "Mommy! Collin's just falling down the stairs!!" I jumped out of my chair and darted for the stairs. My baby is too young to take his first tumble down the stairs! He needs to be at least crawling. When I turn the corner I see Collin, headed face first down the stairs, and Macey holding onto him with all her might. I couldn't believe she could hold him like that! He wasn't even scared, he was like let me go! That was fun!! I thanked Macey a million times and this was her reply:
"Mommy, I'm just really a hero."
P.S. I have about an infinity of posts I want to post, but they all include pictures... and my computer is STUPID and won't upload any! Hopefully we can figure out the problem soon because I am dying to share some of these pictures and stories! Here's a little teaser... Randy. Playing his Cello. Old ladies want him. Macey yelling in the background while he's playing (it was at a recital... a quiet recital) "GO DADDY!" Good times...

Macey is a hero! I can't believe that Collin is getting around like that. I can't wait to see your pictures. We took our pictures in Pocatello, I left my purse in Shalean's car when she was up here, so we had to go down there. We were in some church's yard we saw as we were driving along. Not the best pictures, but good enough. I was just glad Shalean had her camera and was able to take our pictures.
Collin is lucky to have a big sister that looks after him! That is so cute that she was trying to save him. When are you going to Idaho for the holidays? We really need to plan a get together! I miss you!! We will be there for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year!
Oh I wish I could have seen Macey hanging on to poor widdle brover! What a great babysitter you have!
oh how sweet! What a good big sister..... Bronwyns little brother will be here in a few weeks, i hope she will be like Macey and grab him if he's about to fall, not push him along (hehehe) -whit
Love that story. From your description I can picture your two little ones. Yeah for blogs for documenting such moments.
