The Pumpkin Patch

Today after we were done watching BYU squash UNLV (I know, I know... more like BYU squashing our hopes and dreams... but at least they squeaked out a win), we went to a Pumpkin Patch. The plan was for it to be a playdate with a bunch of friends, but Randy and I being the party poopers that we are, decided to go on ahead of the group... I was getting antsy (and hungry... don't nobody want to be around me when I'm antsy AND hungry), and Macey was terrified to go in. She kept asking, "is it sawwy?" Poor kid. We told her no, it wasn't scary.. and drug her in. Good thing we didn't lie! She ended up loving it. Here are some pictures of the momentous occasion.

In case you are wondering why we didn't ask someone to take a family photo shot, well... would you if you were making these embarrassing faces? That's what I thought...

You might also be wondering... why are DaNae's eyes closed in all of those pictures? To be frank, I am about as photogenic as a post. A post with 5 chins. I've never been photogenic, and I think being a mom just makes things worse for me.

I like how Randy looks like he is bowling while pushing our child in a swing. Stee-rike!

Looking at all these pictures I think it's safe to conclude that Randy and I probably had
more fun than Macey!
